  Titan Hunting Guide

Why not share some info about hunting titans. Hopefully you've got at least a decent connection speed to FS. If your using firefox, I highly suggest getting the auto-reload add on. This add on does nothing but refreshes your browser, and has been deemed ok to use. FallenSword RPG - Play online now free!

When hunting your screen should look like this Titan Hunting Example Screen HERE that way you can see the most out of your map. with the auto reload you can set it at 0 seconds and it constantly refreshes and you can see the titans as soon as they move. now that you can see the titans and just enough of your window (the one where you can move and kill things, which should be on top of the world map) you need to change some of the things within FS to help speed you up. If you go under your preferences tab and click to hide everything there, you won't believe how much it will speed ya up. hide kill logs, guild info, backpacks, fsbox, game info, everything there in the top check it and save.

Killing The Titans

As far as actually killing the titans, as soon as you land on the square where the titan is located start smashing your mouse key as soon as possible and as fast as possible for 2-3 seconds. This will allow you to get all the kills you can for that one spot.
A good idea is while your moving hover the pointer where the titan attack button should be so once you step on the square you can start mashing away on your mouse. If your with a group of people and covering an area, just keep hitting the R button repeatedly. If it shows near you doing this will show you where he is before your world map does.
Another thing STAY OUT OF GUILD CHAT!!! If your spending time in guild chat talking about zones, kills, who's there, and what not then your missing the titans in your area. Just keep killing till its over then see what you get done. Don't constantly look at your kill streak and scout tower to see how many kills you have. That one click to the tower just lets a fast hunter have all the edge he needs.

Skype

I suggest getting skype and doing a conference call. Don't have to worry about typing anything just say where your covering and communicate between members. If your still having trouble and running a little slow try to change servers. some servers are better than others on FS. If your slow wait 2 min 1 second before clicking anything on the screen, have someone cover your zone, and try switching to a different sever. Also never hunt using FSHelper even in hunting mode this just slows you down by 1-3 seconds which is an eternity in titan lifespans.

More Helpful Tips

Also I forgot to tell ya, go under your windows preferences and mouse settings. Make sure that your double click speed is turned up as fast as it can go, that way the computer responds to all the clicks that you are doing.
"How do you change servers?" Well, at the bottom of the post don't do anything on FS for 2 minutes and 1 second and it will switch you to a different server. that means don't click a single link, don't have auto-reload on.

Chrome is definatly faster as far as moving around the map for me, but if you turn off all add-on's that you've got on firefox then it can run about as fast as chrome.

While moving on the map the keboard keys can be used to move you much more efficiently than fiddling about with your mouse.

A Titan is a creature which drops no gear but you will gain some xp and some gold from each kill you get. The entire point of a Titan Hunt is to get the most kills possible or more than your competitors. Each Titan has a set amount of kills called Hp. Each Titan varies in it's amount of Hp but the range it 4,000 to 7,500 Hp.

Q & A

Questions/Answers:
1)Even Though i am below level 100 is there any way i can contribute in a Titan win? Yes, buff refills and being a kind of cheerleader goes a long way.

2)How many Different types of Titans are there and what level are they? At this moment there are 10 Titans. (Proceed to bottom to see them)

3)Why is Titan Hunting so important? It gains some free advertising on the home page and the Titan Log and also for its expensive drops which can be used for Hunting, PvP, PvP Arena, Offline, and Bounty Hunting. Also it gains RP points which can be used to buy Special Components and Buff Packs. So it will only benefit you to give up a hunts worth of stamina for your guild.

4)If we lose do we get anything? Yes, the guild receives Titan Kill Points which add up and eventually can be used to purchase an epic item.

5)When will a Titan Spawn? A Titan Spawns randomly but it is always on a set time which is on the :00 numbers. Examples: 00:00, 1:00, 2:00, 12:00, 23:00

6)How Do i Know when and where a Titan Has Spawned? When a Titan spawns you will see a message on the home page notifying you that there has been a Titan spotted. This home page message will also let you know which area it is in.

7)How do i know where a Titan is on the Map? Once in the Titan Area Click This button: , once you click on it and it pops up you will see the Titan on it. Once a Titan is killed so many times on one spot it will move on to another which you will be able to see on the world map.

8 )Does Animal Magnet(AM) work on Titans? No it doesn't. But Titans can and have been killed 10+ times on 1 square before so it isn't all that needed.

9)How Do i know how many kills the guild has? And how many kills i have? To view how many kills the guild has and how much Hp is left on the Titan go to the guild Management page then look at structures and then click on the one that says "Scout Tower". Also for the second question if you have the 2nd upgrade on your scout tower you can watch you kill numbers and your guild mates. Or if this option isn't available then you can always watch your kill streak.

10)I Don't Think It is worth it to spend all my stamina on a Titan! Obviously it is your decision if you Titan hunt but Titan hunting i think gains us respect between guild members. I mean it might actually turn your "wasted" stamina into loads of wealth. If we chose to keep it we can use it in the arena and win who knows how many times. And if we chose to sell we still get a lot fsp which could buy new hunting sets, more GS slots, or if we spit a % of the profit (if you helped win the titan) you could make some fsp off it.

11)Can I use a script/add on to kill Titans? At the moment anyone caught using this is to be banned or terminated. HCS (Hunted Cow Studios) has only approved one add on and that is the auto reload for the map. So the answer is really no.

12)I can't beat this person i think they are cheating by using a script! Don't just make this assumption, there are a lot of players out there with really fast internet. If you think some one is cheating send a ticket to HCS and have them check it out. Also if someone is this fast change your hunting area to a more suitable place.

Titan Hints

Titan Hints
1)If you have the Fallen Sword Helper on your computer always turn it off while hunting titans. It only slow's down your speed which can mean alot in a tight competition.

2)Titans hide under Portals, Door Ways, and Quest Locations. And by hide i mean you can't see them unless you are on that square so it is a good thing to remember when the titan randomly vanishes.

3)Auto-Refresh Link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/115 (Once you get the add on go to the map and right click on it. The go to "Reload Every" and click "custom", from there a box will appear and type in 0 for both settings and the map will reload without a delay)

4)Test your web browser options, the 3 main ones are Google Chrome, Fire Fox, and Internet Explorer. One may be faster than the other. I personally have all 3 of these downloaded so i can try each before a Titan hunt.

5)You should always hunt with a double screen. By this i mean have your moving map minimized to where you can still see to kill Titans and see to move. Then have the World Map in the remaining space. This allows you to skip the clicking process. (#6 Adds onto this)

6)If you got the money or have an extra monitor you could always have 2 monitors with will allow you to have a split screen. One screen for your World Map and the other for your moving map, this should increase speed by allowing you to skip the clicking process.

7)Turn your double click speed to the fastest it can go. You can access this by following these steps: Start, Control Panel, Hardware/Sound, Click on the one that reads "Mouse", The a window will appear then you should see a heading saying double click speed, The proceed to move that bar to the right as far as it will go, Then click apply and there you go.

Titan Don'ts:

Titan Don'ts:
1)Counter Attack can be useful on Titans in finding a one hit defensive set up. Recommended to not using a CA lower than level 175.

2)Never use Doubler the point of a Titan hunt is who can last the longest and using doubler will do nothing but waste stamina.

Deepwater Choker----  Interested in hunting for a Deepwater Choker? Once you complete the Sea Hunter Quest, which you can do at about lvl 60, you will acquire the Shin Yarin Longsword. You have to have the Shin Yarin Longsword to attack the Deepwater Kraken. The Kraken is a Titan event, meaning you have to wait for it to appear in the notices to be able to hunt it. The Kraken appears in the Plague Isles Mists, and it could be on any of 4 of the maps within the Plague Mists Isles (N, S, E, W). To hunt the Kraken, you should have an armor set that give you at least a 800 points to your armor, you can do a high defense set, but I recommend a high armor set and get buffed to the max before hunting it. -DaYiang
